Tulip Package 5 Days 4 Nights
Time your visit to Kashmir for the few weeks each spring when the Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden opens below the Zabarwan hills, and the valley is at its most colourful. This five day package builds a full Kashmir tour around it — the tulip garden and Mughal gardens in Srinagar, a day in the meadows at Gulmarg, and a day in the Lidder valley at Pahalgam — with a shikara ride on Dal Lake to finish the first evening.
Day-wise Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Srinagar
- Arrive at Srinagar Airport where our representative will welcome you and transfer you to your hotel or houseboat.
- Check in and relax after your journey.
- In the afternoon, enjoy a shikara ride on Dal Lake past the houseboats and floating gardens.
- Evening free to walk along the Boulevard.
- Dinner and overnight stay in Srinagar.
Day 2: Tulip Garden and Mughal Gardens
- After breakfast, visit the Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden, the largest tulip garden in Asia, laid out in terraces below the Zabarwan range.
- Continue to the Mughal gardens — Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Bagh and Chashme Shahi.
- Visit the Pari Mahal terraces for views across Dal Lake.
- Evening free for shopping in the local markets.
- Dinner and overnight stay in Srinagar.
Day 3: Gulmarg Day Trip
- After breakfast, drive to Gulmarg, about two hours from Srinagar.
- Ride the Gulmarg Gondola towards Kongdoori for views across the Pir Panjal range.
- Spend time in the meadows, or add a pony ride or snow activity depending on the season.
- Return to Srinagar in the evening.
- Dinner and overnight stay in Srinagar.
Day 4: Pahalgam Day Trip
- After breakfast, drive to Pahalgam through the saffron fields of Pampore and the apple orchards of Anantnag.
- Visit Betaab Valley and Aru Valley, or walk up to Baisaran meadow.
- Time by the Lidder river before returning.
- Return to Srinagar in the evening.
- Dinner and overnight stay in Srinagar.
Day 5: Departure
- After breakfast, check out from your hotel.
- Depending on your flight time, you may have free time for last minute shopping.
- Our representative will assist you with your transfer to Srinagar Airport.
- Depart from Kashmir with memories of the valley in bloom.
